Poe's Kitchen "Burrito Bowl II" at Rattlesnake Feb. 4th

It's another Tex- Mex food cook off this week! Yes! Poe's Kitchen at Rattlesnake is hosting the third cook off this week.  In honor of the Pats being in the Super Bowl this weekend - Brian Poe (Executive Chef at the Rattlesnake) is kicking off the Burrito Bowl II this Saturday.  Each chef will create a burrito served "bowl style" reflecting the city of their favorite NFL team.  Chefs include:

Legal Sea Foods Soup-er Bowl Challenge Friday - Feb 3rd

In honor of Super Bowl Sunday, Legal Sea Foods will be dishing out both New England Clam Chowder vs. Manhattan Clam Chowder at City Hall Plaza this Friday from 12:00PM - 2:00PM for their soup-er bowl challenge. Talk about a challenge even easier than this Sunday's game - Go New England Clam Chowder (and Pats!).  You can also vote on your favorite on Legal Sea Food's Facebook Page.  

Warm Up Wednesdays with Panera Bread

Panera Bread is warming up Boston this February with their Warm Up Wednesdays! Panera Bread's delivery team will be surprising commuters in downtown Boston with free coffee and baked goods - I'll reveal the location tomorrow night! They will also be kicking off Warm Wednesdays this Wednesday (February 1st) with free coffee at participating locations from 7:00AM to 9:00AM.

Brewers Helping Neighbors in the South End Feb. 2nd

United South End Settlements' Harriet Tubman House (566 Columbus Avenue) is hosting Brewers Helping Neighbors this Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30!  Tickets ($40) include beers, tasting glass, food - provided by Clery's, Not Your Average Joe's, New York Pizza, Starbucks and Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen.  Kennedy Elsey from Mix 104.1 will be the host along with live music by Los Three.  

Breweries include - Blue Hills Brewery, Clown Shoes Beer (awesome name - although now I'm going to have nightmares about IT), Harpoon Brewing, Mayflower Brewery (great Pale Ale), Mercury Brewing Company, and Sam Adams Brewing.

3rd Annual Chili Cup at Ned Devine's Feb. 16th

Chocolate Festival in Harvard Square this weekend!

This weekend Harvard Square is hosting its 2nd Annual Chocolate Festival full of chocolate tours, free samples and other chocolatey goodness.  Some highlights include walking tours of Harvard Square starting at 11:00AM on both Saturday and Sunday discussing the history of chocolate.
